A.R.C. Directors Ltd is a speciality business that provides independent personal directorships and corporate directorships to the global hedge fund industry. The firm is founded and operated by Alan Tooker and Ramona Bowry, each of whom has abundant experience in the hedge fund industry which augments their contributions as international hedge fund directors.

Alan and Ramona most recently worked at Derivatives Portfolio Management, now DPM Mellon, from which they acquired DPM Directors Ltd, and renamed the organization A.R.C. Directors Ltd. Each of them has spent many years working for hedge fund companies at the senior management level and, while with DPM, has specialized in onshore and offshore hedge fund administration. Alan and Ramona have been directly involved in establishing, managing and controlling hedge funds. Their collective experience extends to the sophisticated risk management of complex guaranteed products as well as negotiating terms of business relationships with guarantors, prime brokers and other market counterparties.

A.R.C. Directors’ deep understanding of hedge funds includes knowledge of complex fund structures, derivatives (including OTCs), regulatory regimes, stock exchange listing requirements and risk management, combined with an ability to fully understand funds’ trading strategies and the nature of their underlying investments, including risk profiles and liquidity. As a result of their wide-ranging work experience, Alan and Ramona have unique insights into the management and control, including risk control, of hedge funds. Their combined expertise covers a broad range of jurisdictions.
